Mr. Harb did an achilles rupture repair for me. Explained the options re surgery versus 'boot only'. Shared the MRI pictures. Most importantly, fought my corner when the surgery looked like getting delayed due to covid protocols - arranging nerve block rather than GA.

Mr Harb is a legend. From my initial diagnosis and pre operative assessment at St. Peter’s, I felt confident in the diagnosis, the recommended course of action and most importantly, the msn in charge of the procedure. I was incredibly nervous about undergoing surgery, but the theatre staff at Ashford eased any apprehension that I had; I laughed going under and woke up dimly realising that the procedure was now history. This morning’s consultation confirmed that everything had gone as anticipated; and more importantly I’m walking again.

Mr Harb carried out a reconstruction of my forefoot, straightening the second and third toes. The initial proposal had been to amputate, but when I rejected that option, he discussed the case in his Foot and Ankle Regional MDT and came up with a surgical solution to straighten the toes - a form of osteotomy. The procedure was carried out in mid 2021. The bones healed quickly and I suffer no pain as a result of the procedure. I would add that Mr Harb has a sympathetic manner and is willing to take time to explain the detail of options he presents. Many thanks! Alan Wood

I highly recommend Dr Harb who treated my Achilles injury during 2021. He is clearly a very knowledgeable capacity within his field - including this kind of injury, and I have no further suggestions that I think could improve this great care.
